The dynamic East Ridge Elementary School was designed to inspire imagination and creativity in the students. It includes a modern design with a grand foyer that boasts enormous mountainscape murals, colored wayfinding, and welcoming open spaces. The foyer can lock down independently at a moment’s notice, making it a safe environment for the students and faculty. Native flora and fauna were used as identifiers for each grade level, with each classroom containing artwork that depicts the native elements. The design team gathered ideas from natural surroundings and implemented them into the school's design to generate a creative and imaginative learning space for the students. Awarded: 2021 Most Outstanding Publisher’s Pick Award (Utah Construction & Design).
