The Utah Olympic Legacy Foundation (UOLF) revamped its infrastructure at the Utah Olympic Park, replacing outdated wooden ski ramps and staircases with state-of-the-art steel jumps and concrete staircases. This upgrade, undertaken after over two decades of use and the 2002 Winter Olympic Games, significantly enhances safety and expands training capacity. The project involved the replacement of four wooden aerial jumps with seven steel ski jumps, alongside the installation of a safer concrete staircase and the expansion of the existing pool. Additionally, the hillside was retreaded to allow for more training space. The facility now boasts increased safety features, providing athletes with an unparalleled training experience, ensuring their well-being, and preparing them for top-level competitions. Awarded: 2016 Best Sports/Recreation Project of the Year (ENR Mountain States).
