Utah State University Kem and Carolyn Gardner Learning and Leadership Building
Logan, UT
The new Kem and Carolyn Gardner Learning and Leadership Building at Utah State University is a three-story, 45,000-square-foot facility designed to foster experiential learning for students. The building utilizes a hybrid structural system that integrates mass timber and steel, featuring advanced concealed (“blind”) connections within the timber elements. This innovative design highlights the versatility and potential of cross-laminated timber (CLT) in multi-story construction.
